Obituary of Thomas Lee Stacey
Thomas (Tom) Lee Stacey passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. Husband, devout Christian, gentleman, cocker spaniel lover, born in Racine Wisconsin, resident previously of Sands Point now of Lattingtown. Member of Winter Walking Group, Men’s Luncheon Group and Sands Point Golf Club. Board member of the Salvation Army, an Elder in the Lutheran Church, and a board member of the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club.
Tom was a sportsman from the Cresta Run to rallying his 1955 MGTF. He was a Champion Clay shooter (for which he received over 100 trophies) and teacher. He was an avid sailor, skier, and had a career as an advertising executive from Jaguar to Cabbage Patch Dolls, American Gas Association to IBM.
He was always ready with humor. He loved his wife, Margaret Schneider Stacey of Sands Point. They were married for 51 years. He had two brothers, Howard and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited and/or the Game Concervancy of USA.
Visitation on Thursday June 6th from 5 to 9PM.
