Obituary of Zachary Adam McLaughlin
On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Zachary Adam McLaughlin, beloved son of Diane and Mark, loving brother of Samantha and Hanna, passed unexpectedly at the age of 31. Cherished grandson of John and Marie Gallo and the late Gerard and Barbra McLaughlin. Devoted nephew of Augie and Michele Gallo, Christine and Tommaso Graziosi, Maureen McLaughlin, Paul McLaughlin, Jay McLaughlin, David and Lucie McLaughlin, and the late Jerry McLaughlin. And a multitude of cousins and friends.
Zack's journey began on November 16, 1991, a day that brought a bright light into so many lives. He embarked on his academic path at Locust Valley and then on to Keene State University. Soon after, he followed his heart to the landscapes of Colorado, a place that captured his soul and became his cherished home.
Zack was a true free spirit, a captivating force who drew people close with his infectious charisma and smile. Zack had an unwavering passion for the great outdoors; he was always equipped with his fishing gear, ready to cast his line whenever the opportunity arose.
Zachary is being waked at Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay, NY, on Sunday, October 1, from 3 PM - 7 PM. Funeral Mass St Gertrude RC Church Saturday October 14th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery
