To the Benvin Family,
Sending you love and heartfelt
sympathy. The way Nan lived her life, with such grace and her positive outlook on life has been an example for all of us. I especially appreciated her being a grandmother to Justin...he loved the M&M's she would bring him. I will remember her always.
With love and Peace

Nan,
I remember the first day Tracy brought me over to meet you and Pop. Pop sitting in the chair looking straight at me as Tracy introduced me.As I seemed a bit scared I still remember you winking at me and saying don't worry hes ok. I never had a Grandmother that I could remember and I am so happy that I was able to share you as my Grandmother along with all of yours. There will always be things that I will remember you by such as BBQ's,you selling the poppies at the parade, comming to see you at your house. Christmas will never be the same without those cheese boxes you always got me. I looked so forward to getting that every year from you . Nan, I will truley miss you and say hi to my grandparents and let them know that you did a fine job stepping in. Love ya nan.

Nan,
I remember holding open the front door for you at URI my freshman year, before I had ever met Nisha. Today I always hold open up doors for strangers, because I've learned just how special they can become. More than anything else, thank you for the conversation we've had over the years, I always loved talking to you. You were a beautiful, wise soul who was able to say so much in such few words. I will never forget your wink, thinking about it always brings a smile to my face. Love you!

OOOOOH MOM....You're right there with Jesus. And I know that you are young and healthy again with family and friends all around you. I know that Jesus celebrated your arrival with a wonderful "Welcome Home" party, the best you've ever attended. But if you are wondering what's going on at home, I think you already know. You are certain that we love you and miss you so much. I keep running into your room to feel safe and to check on you, but then I remember. The night that you went home, I fell asleep in the chair next to your bed. Judy is working hard gathering pictures for your video, and we are making posters. She even has Johnny Mathis music to go along with your video. Phil and Liz stop by to check in and they have been busy getting things ready. Billy is bringing Judy all over, running errands. Cap is cleaning because, the kids are coming, and he mowed the lawn. Casey knows you are not here. As usual, I still don't know what I'm wearing on Sunday. I can hear you telling me that I am welcome to wear any of your clothes. That's what you said every time I had to go some place. The phone is ringing off the hook. Everyone misses you and loves you so much. Because you are so special, we picked out a pink casket. We know that you're in Heaven and those things don't matter, but it made us feel better because, pink is your favorite color. We are bringing your awards and your beautiful wedding picture for everyone to see. Phil even picked out one of the songs for your mass. By now you know that Uncle Bill passed away. We just didn't have the heart to tell you. And yes, it was us who gave you all those Christmas and birthday cards and gifts from him. We didn't want you to be sad. Mom, you're the best. You did everything for us, and we love you so much. You were the prettest lady in the whole wide world, even a giraffe. (Mom knows what I'm talking about) Please give kisses and hugs to everyone for us, and please thank Jesus for answering the prayer that I've been praying for so many years...that you would live to be 95 to 100 years old. He answered my prayer. Love, Patty

My sincere sympathy to Marie's family. Marie was one of the first person that I met when I came to
Bayville (1962). It seems that I have known Marie a lifetime. She was such a dear sweet person that everyone loved. She never had a negative word to say to or about anyone. Always smiling and upbeat and happy to see you whenever you met. I can smile when I think of Marie because she always showed that she was glad to see you. There never will be a Memorial Day Parade without me thinking of her selling the poppies. She will be remembered with fondness and love.

My Beautiful Aunt Marie, I always remember you as such a special person. I thought and thought last night if I ever saw you angry - no, not even on our trip to Florida with Grandma Benvin. I know Patty and I drove you absolutely crazy with our antics, but my memories of that trip are so special because of you.
You and my dad had such good sense of humor. I know you are together now, smiling, laughing and listening to Mimi lecture Pop.
Thank you for being there for my mother (and I). You made it so easy for her to remain your sister-in-law despite all the "drama" of those years.
I have always admired you and loved you. Although we didn't get to see one another much you were always in my heart, my thoughts and prayers.
Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were blessed to have your love and have you as their role model.
Rest in Peace Aunt Marie. Please give my mom a special hug from me. Love, Frannie

Nan, you truly are and always will be an inspiration to me. Being your great granddaughter I feel blessed to have 20 great years with you, something many people can't say they have had with a great grandmother. No matter how much pain you were ever in, you never showed it. You never wanted any of us to feel the stress that you were going through. That takes a really strong person and I want you to know that you will truly be loved and missed . I love you always. Nisha couldn't have put it better , there is no doubt that heaven recieved an angel last night . I wish you eternal rest and I'll see you on the other side . Until then rest easy. Love you
