I met Mr. Uhlinger 4th of July @ Sagamore Hill.I was so impressed w/ the whole troop.I spent the whole day around the troopers & horses. When I met & talked to Bill I told him I used to haul horses for a living. And that I would be interested in volanteering,he immediately gave me his card & said w/ a big smile give us a call we'd love to have you.To his wife Virginia my deepest condolences.I wish I'd made the call-though I didn't know Mr Uhlinger I will truly miss him.I am friends of the Grennan family & knew Barry Grennan D.A.Thank you Bill for your tears of service in the D.A's office.RIP trooper.Sincerly-David J Clare

In the words of Sean Casey, "What a terrible thing has happened to us all! To you there, to us here, to all everywhere." Bill was a living saint - he was interesting, witty, erudite, thoughtful and kind. He spoke well of everyone and never had a bad word for anyone. What a colossal loss. Bill - you will be sorely missed.
