Never have I seen girls love their dad the way the four of you did. I remember you all called him "Da," without the last "d" - a term of endearment. Here's to all the wonderful moments you enjoyed each other's company.

From England our thoughts are with all Walters family at this sad time. We can feel it very keenly as Romeshes father, Skanda, died less than three months ago and we are also experiencing the sense of loss but also of pride in a life of service to family and career. Our love to you all. Angela Vaitilingam. (Romeshes mother)

Walter was a wonderful man to admire. Sweet and wise. Always followed a question with a question. He surrounded himself with women who loved him. I thought it was such a good idea that I did the same. Much appreciated,Walter is always in my heart.

Jane, Diane and Liz..... Alexia and I convey our heartfelt sympathy to each of you and the entire family on the loss of your Dad. He was a great guy. I still have the Environmental Engineering textbooks that he gave me many years ago at a Holiday gathering at the Dairy. Actually, my Dad was also stricken with multiple myloma so I know how debilitating the condition can be. He is in a much better place now. The hurt that you are feeling will heal with the passage of time, the great memories that each of have of your Dad and the fact that he lived a long, productive life. Fondly, Rich & Alexia Walka
