I have many fond memories of spending summer evenings sitting with bruce, kathy at the restaurant. Carmen always sat with us at our table to share a cold peroni and chat and tell me that he was coming to brazil to visit me one of these days. my heartfelt sympathy goes out to all his family in this difficult time. carmen, you will be sorely missed god bless you and may you rest forever in peace

Don---It is never thrilling to open a window containing the subject, "A Sad Report."
My first reaction was something like being thankful that the news was not specifically about you or your family.
But, still, I know that Carmen's death is unfortunate especially to you and Jan, because he was your most-loyal neighbor for so many years and a soul mate in many ways. It's hard losing close friends and in your case a co-worker in the most vital cause rolling around in your life nowadays. I met Carmen a couple times when we visited you and Q and I enjoyed his congeniality. I know you will miss him and regret his inability to see the Romney bandwagon getting up steam and heading toward its eventual success.
Hope this is your only taste of grief and that the remaining issues you're confronting are being faced and conquered expeditiously.
Grace and peace, Fred & Jan

We shared several years as friends at San De Vance with parties and chats at the pool. I pray for your family in their hours of sadness. As many people referred to you as MAYOR, you always loved that name.. Farewell Carmen and be in peace.
