Maria Farrell posted a condolence
Dear Mary Beth and the Maioli family,
I am so sad and sorry to hear your mom has died. It seems so cruel, when you should have had so many more happy years together to look forward to.
I will always remember the warm hospitality your mom showed to me many years ago when I visited Long Island with Caoimhe, courtesy of Maureen Murphy, and we visited your family home. I remember sitting out on the back porch talking so easily with you and your mom late into the summer evening, even though we had just met. I remember your mom as brimming with warmth and happiness, and so much commonsense, and full of a lovely, laid-back pride for you, Mary Beth.
Please know that people far and wide are thinking of you and your family, and holding you in our prayers.
Yours sincerely, Maria Farrell

Sue was such a special person and friend. When our group had our 'luncheons' she was always ready to change the conversation when things got stale. Books, travel, cooking, grandchildren, family, (not in that order) were where she would take us. I feel like I've traveled the world with Sue. I miss her and loved her so. Love, Marilyn

We remember MB coming out to Ohio for her summer vists, our trips to the big city, and our last visit when Dad passed, but most of all we remember Sue's great smile and that sparkle in her eyes--it was as if she expected something really fun to happen next! She will be greatly missed! May your sweet memories of good times help sustain you. Love and sympathy, Joyce and Ted and J and J
