I remember Mom listening to my many dreams. She never yelled at me when she saw that I was already being hard on myself. She would hug me and comfort me.
She always told me that I could do anything, then she would shake her head yes & smile
Mom you will be missed ... till we meet again...
Love you always

Mama blessed me with her strength, personality, and infamous sense of humor. I am deeply greatful. My greatest memory of my grandmother will always be her smile.I loved to see her smile.I pray that she is up in heaven smiling down on all of us and that we honor her memory by living our lives the way she lived: Honest, adventureous, and to the FULLEST. I Love You Mama.
Your Little Sweetie Pie, Shavon

One of the many things that I remember about my mom is that she spoke her mind...sometimes without using a soft choice of words. She never ment to offend. Trying to give young and old persons of advice to help them to pursue a better more productive life. I loved my mother, she was smart, funny and helpfull....always happy as a jack ass in a fence!!! I miss you mommy.

Iris posted a condolence
Maamaa - You always told me, "I have a wonderful life, Iris, God has truly blessed me" - a statement which describes a well-lived life. I will miss you, your sweet smile, and the way you greeted me with, "There's my little darlin" when I came to visit. Rest in peace Maamaa! (After awhile crocodile)
God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered"Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you . But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

WE HAVE SO MAY MEMORIES BUT I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT THE TIMES YOU WOULD TAKE ME AND SHAVON TO JUPITER ISLAND TO MRS. GRAYS'S HOUSE. WE HAD THE BEST TIME AT THE CHRISTMAS PARTIES THERE AND THEY WOULD GET A KICK OUT OF WATCHING US DANCE. YOU WOULD TAKE US TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS HOUSE AND BRAD TO EVERYONE ABOUT YOUR "LITTLE SWEETIE PIES".
YOU WERE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY SHINING STAR. YOU ARE THE ANGEL THAT GETS ME THROUGH THE BAD TIMES.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR LOVE, WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND ENCOURAGEMENT. YOU ALWAYS PUSHED ME TO BE THE BEST AND ALL I EVER WANTED TO DO WAS MAKE YOU PROUD.
THANK YOU FOR MY LIFE. IT'S STILL HARD LIVING IT WITHOUT YOU HERE WHEN ALL I WANT TO DO IS HUG YOU AND LOVE ON YOU.
I TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN ON ME AND WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE SMILING AT WHAT YOU SEE.
LOVE YOU ETERNALLY,
YOUR LITTLE DOCTOR - MONIQUIE
