As soon as we heard of Jack's passing,it was as if all of Heaven had begun to cry as the suddenly overcast sky let loose a fierce thunderstorm with an hour of heavy rain! But our shocked and sad hearts were cheered when the sudden storm was followed by a brilliant, peaceful sunset, filling us with the sense that Jack had arrived in Heaven! A hug from Jack ALWAYS felt like a hug from God! He sure was good at radiating God's love FOR us TO us! Remembering Jack with MUCH JOY!

The shock of Jack's untimely passing is excruciatingly palpable for all of us. Since our son, Will, was young -- for almost 20 years -- it has been a real pleasure to have known Jack -- and through his eyes, the rest of his fine family. Jack was a gentleman in the truist sense of the word. He had a wonderful sense of humor and just being in his presence made everyone feel better. He could always get people to smile because he lived life with the zest that most of us only dream of. He always had that special twinkle in his eyes -- especially when he talked about his grandchildren and showed pictures of all of them. He was so proud. We always felt like Jack was part of our family because of the way he endeared himself to all of us. We all will miss him dearly and we can only pray that your loss will somehow be softened by knowing how much he was truly loved and admired by all those that knew him.

Each time he'd pick me up when I would arrive from Florida he would have new pictures he couldn't wait to show me and his eyes would light up whenever he talked about his wonderful grandchildren!
