Jane,...you may not remember me from our days at St. Ambrose...but I remember so well...the wonderful relationship that you and Jim had. I was looking thru the SCENE magazine from SAC...and saw Jim's death notice. When I looked up his obituary...and saw him holding that same photo of the cute face I remember so well. My heart goes out to you and the family. Even though we have not stayed in contact over the years...I just wanted you to know that my prayers are in your direction.
Blessings! Diane Francque '73'

Although we did not know Jim very long, one thing that stands out for us is that Jim was the type of guy who was very approachable as he was always smiling and had happy eyes. We always loved talking to him because he had such a young-at-heart attitude that was contagious! We will not
forget this wonderful gentleman.

I knew Jim from Boy Scouts - Sacred Heart School, Fort Madison. He was a great guy and good example to the younger scouts while still keeping it fun! People usually make a difference for others in great but small ways..and usually never know it. That was Jim. My sympathies to all family and friends.

We'll always remember BSA Troop 170 when you and your son welcomed us into the Troop. But most of all, we remember Jim singing "Whip It" with Laurence on karaoke at the St. Ed's Heavenly Host dinner. That was quite a few years ago, but we clearly remember how really, really bad they were (and how much fun they were having)! It's surprising how often that memory surfaces, but it's always good for a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are so very sorry for your loss.
