Saddened to hear of Audrey's death. We were childhood friends in Jersey City. Attended Uncle Jack's dancing school together and did a toe dance, just the two of us, at a dance recital. Auudrey's Mom made our costumes. Later we visited in Teaneck when the family moved. Will always remember Donald practicing his sax and Dad, August, at his drafting table. Also remember Grandma Thompson next door. Have many pictures in my album. My condolences to all and please extend my sympathy to Donald. (Does he remember me?)

Mom:
Almost a week has gone by and still your passing seems surreal. Last night I needed your wisdom on a little issue and thought I would call for your advice.
Don't suppose you got your phone number yet there in heaven?
Most of all Peggy & I will miss your love. RIP Mom! We will work hard to shape your granddaughter into a woman as loving and wise as you!

Hi to Doug, David and Wes,
The service yesterday at Calverton National Service was very sad...but the roses perfect. A wonderful touch to the memory of Audrey.
We will never forget her.

I can still see Audrey's sweet smile in my mind. Audrey usually sat across from me at the EERTA meetings, we'd catch each other's eye and both smile.
I enjoyed her sense of humor; eating lunch with her after the meetings; the slow walks from the restaurants to the cars, talking all the time.
I remember the fun we had when she and Wes had a wine and cheese party in their room at the convention two years ago, a room big enough to do a polka in!
Audrey often phoned me after she and Wes received the newsletter to tell me I did a great job. Audrey always made it a point to say something to make others feel good about themselves.
I am very fortunate, indeed, that God put a wonderful woman like Audrey in my life, even if it was just for a few years. I, too, miss her very, very much.

As Dave's friend of nearly 30 years I have many wonderful memories of Mrs. Berry. She was always both friendly, open and down to earth, and yet graceful and a real lady at the same time. She was great to us in college and when Dave and I lived together, as well as many other times. My condolences to Mr. Berry, Dave and the whole family...she will be missed.
