Obituary of Thomas John Sarnowski

Sarnowski, Thomas John - on Oct. 23, 2009, age 70, of Oyster Bay, NY after a courageous three year battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Cathryn. Loving father of Bobby and David. Cherished son of the late Sigmund and Ann Sarnowski. Dear brother of Joseph (Carole) and Daniel. Fond son-in-law of Anthony and the late Kay Petraglia and brother-in-law of Robert Petraglia. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. He was loved by all for his kindness and zest for life. Beside his family Tom's passion was fishing and travel. Visiting at Oyster Bay Funeral Home 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, NY 11771 on Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10am St. Gertrude RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
