I am a friend of Stacey and Andrea's (former lifeguard from CI Bay). I just wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone. Looking at the pictures reminds me how beautiful the whole family is. I remember many July 4th nights winding up back at your house and the Halloween parties and what a sense of fun and festivities everyone always had.

I can see Uncle Butch with his camera taking pictures of something for the firehouse.He,like just about all the Ellison men,loved the friehouse. He would also sneak me beer when I was waiting in line at the haunted house(don't worry I was old enough). He also got me to work at it for a few years. To Aunt Judy,Eddie,Stacey,Dave,Uncle Dave and Debbie we are so sorry for your loss and so sorry that we couldn't be there but know you are in hearts during this hard time. I didn't always know this but he was dad's best man at their wedding and I know dad is taking this pretty hard which makes this hard for me to not be there. We love all of you and will see you soon. Good bye Uncle Butch. Have a tee time ready for me

With loving memories of all the times we spent together growing up Butch was like a big brother to me as I was an only child. I will never forget the great times we had in his soapbox racer and fishing in the sound. With all my love, Bruce Unfortunately I only knew Butch for a short time but enjoyed having him visit us in Oregon where we floated down the river and had fun teasing him about all of the noise the clock made in his bedroom.
