I am here to deliver a message for Mom. She wanted all of you to know, that everyday of her life, she prayed for each and every one of you and wanted to express her love to everyone. Ever since dad died, she always said she wanted to be by his side and had no purpose in being here anymore. Then, on October 11, 2005 when she heard her grandson Mitchell was diagnosed with Leukemia all that changed. She would sit in her chair day in and day out praying for Mitchell to a point where she had worn out several pairs of rosary beads. She would not only pray for Mitchell to get well, but prayed he would have the strength to get himself back into the shape he was before his illness. I always responded that “if anyone can make that happen it was you mom”. I look at Mitchell everyday now and not only thank god for giving mom the strength to pray for Mitchell getting well, but I thank Mom for believing in the power of her prayer. Recently, while mom was laying in her bed, Beverly and I went to see her, mom grabbed my face to give me one of her final kisses and said: “God put something inside of me” I responded, what was that mom , she said “the power to have faith and believe in him”. The next few days it was as though mom was giving us one final lesson in life. How to transcend into heaven. She was not afraid, always told us that she was not in pain, and as usual, just did what she had to do. Mom told me she saw her mother, father and dad waiting for her and now wanted to be with them. I believe that her strong belief in god allowed that to happen. The night she passed on, there was a lightning show in the sky like I had never seen before. I like to believe that it was truly a celebration for mom entering into heaven and reuniting with all the people she cherished so much here on earth. Mom, I will always pray for you and to you, and hope all your expectations of heaven are what you thought and believed they were. I’m sure they are. I will miss you for the rest of my life, and will carry every memory of you with me until the day I‘m lying in bed seeing you and dad. I love you…how I wish I can hold you one more time… Johnny. Beverly, as always, you are my strength. I love the way you were always there with mom, calling me to give me an update on how she was doing. It relieved some of my anxiety of not knowing what was happening to her and how she was feeling. At night, walking into mom’s room at with you and seeing how she responded to you was something I’ll never forget. At one point, she would call you Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma, It was cute to see, she loved you so much. I love you. Nadine: You always brought the smile and joy into Nan’s life. She loved you so much. I know it was difficult for you to see her the way she was, but you truly gave her happiness in what ever life she had left. She always asked how you were and wanted mom and I to express her love to you when we saw you. Mitchell: You know the special place Nan had in her heart for you. I believe, it was on account of you, she was with us until she saw you we doing so well. Nan told me that now she will be in heaven now watching over you. She will always be by your side. John, Stacy, and Annalyn, Ryan and Amanda: Nan missed out on many beautiful days with you during the past couple of years. When mom and I explained what your busy lives were like, she would always say “tell them I love them and when you a had a chance to go and see her”. When you did, she was always so excited to tell us. She always had that Grandmothers listening ear for you, no matter what it was about. John and Ryan, Nan thought the world of you both and in her words would say: “God bless them all, they are all my children and I love them”. Mom truly loved everyone she knew. How luck we are to have had her in our lives.

To The Entire Pacifico Family: For too many years, I chased the dream of recreating those unforgettable times I spent in Bayville, before I finally realized I'd never reach that goal...but what I'll never lose are the wonderful memories I have of that time in my life. Rose was an integral part of those memories, as were all of you I had the pleasure of knowing. You were then, and still are a glowing part of what was the best part of my childhood. Joanne just called with the news...the depth of sadness I feel is unimaginable. Rose was one of the three most important women in my life. The incredible things I learned in her kitchen were life lessons to me. Her cooking skills and people skills were among her greatest attributes. I learned so many recipes sitting in her kitchen at all hours of the day and night. She was so loved and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to all of you...

Ever since dad died, she rarely felt as though she had a purpose in this life anymore and wanted to be by his side. Mom would sit in her chair day in and day out, praying for not only all of you, but now had a mission to pray to god for Mitchell getting well again. She told me often that she not only prayed for Mitchell to get well, but prayed for his continued strenght to fight his disease and to be as he was before his illness. I always responded, that if anyone can make that happen, it was her. I look at Mitchell everyday now, and not only thank god for giving mom the strenght to pray for Mitchell getting well, but I thank Mom for believing in the power of her prayer. Recently, mom was not able to comprehend who was with her anymore, Beverly and I went to see her, she grabbed my face to give me one of her final kisses and said: "god put something inside of me" I said, what was that mom, she said "the power to have faith and believe in god". The next few days, it is was as though mom was giving us one final example in life, how to transend into heaven. I belive that strong belief of hers in God allow that to happen and with that lightning show in the sky the night mom passed on, was truly a celebration in the heaven above. Mom, I will pray for you now, and hope all your expectations of heaven are what you thought and believed. I'm sure they are. I will miss you for the rest of my life, and will carry every memory of you with me until I the day I'm lying in be seeing you and dad. I love you. Johnny. Beverly, as always, you are of my strenght. Walking into moms room at night with you and seeing how she responded to you was something I'll never forget. I think at one point, she was call you MA,MA, MA, Ma. It was cute to see. I love you. JP Nadine: You always brought the smile to nans face, she loved you so. I know it was difficult for you to see nan the way she was, but you truly gave her joy in whatever life she had left. She always asked how you were when you weren't with us and told you to tell you how much she love you. Mitchell: You know the special place nan had in her heart for you. She will always be there for you. Always by your side whenever you need her. Just ask for her and she will be there. I know. John Stacy, and Annalyn, Ryan and Amanda, nan missed out on such beautiful days with you during the past couple of years. When mom and I explained what your busy lives were like, she would always say "tell them I love them and when you had a chance go and see her". When you did, she was always excited to tell mom and I when that happeded. She always had that listening ear for you no matter what it was about.
