My deepest sympathy to your family at this time. I worked for Mr. Patterson (Jim's dad) back in 1975-1979 and also for Jim and Steve. I have fond memories of Jim and the whole Patterson family and often think about those days and the temper Jim had and how we all tried to get him to calm down. I have to laugh now about it, but it was quite traumatic then. It was my first job out of secretarial school, but the memories will always stay with me. I can't believe how the picture of Jim here reminds me so much of his dear dad, probably one of the nicest men I have ever worked for. Again, my deepest sympathy to you all and know that you are in my thoughts always.

I am the eldest daughter of your "double cousin" Lainey. You gave me my first snowmobile ride when I was 10 and you were 23. You drove really fast and now I know why.:) I held on for dear life, but grew up remembering that snowmobile ride well. I send my deepest sympathy to all your family. You will be deeply missed. Dear Jim: You would have been so very proud of those you love yesterday. The service for you was incredibly beautiful. The women in your life; your adoring mother,your darling Lauren and precious sisters were so strong. Your brother, as well as your best friend are devastated that you have gone home to heaven. I am saddened to have lost a special "double cousin". We shared so many wonderful Tibbetts/Patterson family memories... in addition to some rather nice genes. I wish that many things could be changed but most of all that you might have heard the heart felt tributes and accolades given you. You made your family and those who love you very proud. Rest in peace and know that God seems to take the angels either first.... or far too early. My love always, Judy

My heart smiles when I think of Jim. I never knew an individual who was not a Realtor and studied the Multiple Listing Service more than my friend Jim. With a true love an interest in real estate and architecture, Jim always had something interesting to share regarding the market. We exchanged information on a regular basis and his knowledge always amazed me and kept me on my toes. We laughed, almost cried, and made it through some ups and downs of an ever changing market. Jim, you sold at a great time; both homes. Congrats! You must be smiling up in heaven. May God our Father hold you close in his heart in eternity forever. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. God Bless you.
