There are alot of memories that I could share about Anita, however I choose to share a particular lesson she taught me.
She taught me the lesson(s) of GIVING AND TAKING. That there is joy in BOTH these concepts. A balance whereby friends are there for one another not only during the easy times-but especially, during the difficult ones.
Give and take...you can't have one without the other.
She was there for me in many a difficult time. She humbled me, honored me with her kindness and patience. She said that I was stubborn and had a hard time accepting help from others..... That I denied her the joy of giving back to me in my time of need. She was right!
Love is kind, love is giving and (even) taking. I will forever be grateful
for her reaching out,
grabbing my hand,
and holding me close.
