Sharon Ludlam & Roddy Belford posted a condolence
Dear Aunt Florence, Buddy, Ginna, Meghan and Melissa,
We were really sorry to hear about Uncle Al's passing. He was a great guy! As a kid, I remember my Dad bringing Robert and I over to visit, hearing family stories and playing with Mittens the cat. I have other memories too, but cannot list them all here. He was always helping others and always stood up for the things he believed in. He loved his wife and family very much and we will all miss him.

Dear Aunt Florence, Albert & Ginna, Meghan & Melissa, you have our deepest sympathy and you are all in our prayers. We heard just this evening about Uncle Al's passing, and we are deeply saddened. He was a great man and deeply respected and appreciated in our home. I will always remember seeing him and my dad together at VFW meetings and functions . . . these were special men to be remembered and honored. All our love and prayers.

Florence,One of the last things I did before leaving Oyster Bay was to visit with Al. I never knew whether he improved substantially over the last five years. I, however, will always remember him as the strong robust friend that you shared with me. I thank you for that and want you to know that you are in my prayers . May God bless you. Robbie Hallock

My Dad, John Beutelman was in the VFW with Mr. Ludlam when they would meet at the Jericho Fire Department. Even though I was much younger at the time, I still remember Mr. Ludlam's great smile. He was always so nice. My dad passed away in 1992, but my mom, Betty sends her condolences as do I.

Al as a wonderful man and an old fashioned gentleman. We always enjoyed his company. He was devoted to Florence, hiw wife. We have quite a few happy memories of times spent around the table on St. Patrick's Days' past. My mother Mildred, was extremely fond of him, as well. God bless him and keep him.
