Hanrahan, Jeremiah J.- born on 11/28/24, died on 10/3/07, resident of East Norwich, NY. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Murray). Loving father of Christine (Barry) Goggin, Jeanne and Jerelyn. Cherished grandfather of John and Matthew Hawley, Georgia and Thomas Doremus, and Fiona Brunner. Adored great grandfather of four. Dear brother of Margaret Crowe and the late John, and Mary Whalen. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Elizabeth (nee Lawlor). He was a WWII veteran who served in the US Army in Europe. Founding member and Past President of the Jericho Brookville Lions Club. He was a member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians of Glen Cove. Visiting hours will be at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, NY on Friday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Mass St. Dominic RC Chapel Saturday 10:00 AM. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to The Jericho-Brookville Lions Club, PO Box 667, Jericho, NY 11753.
