Dear Hanley Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Sharon's passing away. It has been a long time since we have all crossed paths, and unfortunately, I was unaware of her illness and suffering. Please know that my thoughts are with you and that my entire family is only now learning of your sadness - and we shall be writing to you as soon as we have your contact information. We will always remember our dhared time at Holy Child, and the fun times we had at Windham. I also feel honored that at one time Sharon had come and stayed with me briefly on Nantucket. I am thinking of you all and know that you will always have a special place in my heart. Sincerely, Sybille (C.B.) Stillger Andersen

I am standing on the seashore,a ship spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the ocean. I stand watching her until she fades on the horizon, and someone at my side says "She is gone".
Gone where? The loss of sight is in me, not her.
Just at that moment when someone says "She is gone",
there are others who are watching her coming. Other voices take up the glad shout,"Here she comes!"
Dear Paul, Grace and Hanley Family. I'm sure as you are that Sharon is in heaven - and she will surely liven up that party. Sharon and I met shortly after she moved to CA. We had many carefree times discovering CA together-beach bike rides,Thanksgiving Day on the beach, Friday nites on Balboa Peninsula. I count her as one of my few true friends, and will always remember the sound of her laughter. Thank you for sharing dear Sharon with me. JoAnn Hillebrand

I met Sharon many years ago in California through MaryLee and JoAnne and just loved being around her and being friends. Sharon was always such a joy to know and the life of the party, so to speak. I always looked forward to her visits and Christmas notes - her handwriting being as distinct as she (I could tell by the envelope) and always opened her cards with great expectation of her wonderful life as it unfolded. I am so happy to have known Sharon. My prayers are with all who loved her!

Tim Naughton posted a condolence
Paul,
I will remember Sharon’s warm smile, and the twinkle of her eyes, forever. She has been called home, to her reward for a lifetime of love.
Some days it hurts to love. This is one of those days, as you and young Grace have lost a wonderful wife and mother. But look around you, for that burden is one you share with your family and friends, just as you shared the joy of loving Sharon.
From the Book of Wisdom: The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; but they are in peace. We believe that death is a passage from this life to the next, promised by Jesus Christ, to share in God's mercy and compassion. Sharon is there now, while we join to celebrate her life, and while we mourn the loss.
I pray the angels will carry Sharon, not so quickly that you and her family and friends may have one glance with which Sharon may know how much you have loved her. God bless and keep you and Grace, all the Collins and all the Hanleys.
With affection,
Tim Naughton
