I only saw Uncle Ritchie a few times during my lifetime, but the memories are strong. He came to Hawaii when Daddy was stationed there. Joyce and I were just kids. We really didn't spend much time with him, the grown-ups did their thing, and us kids were out doing ours. But when he left, he left each of us a hundred dollar bill. OH MY GOSH!! This man was the king of the world to two little girls in Hawaii. Years and years later he came to Vegas. He was such a treat. So warm and bubbly, with the same sparkle in his eyes, like my Dad. I'm looking at this picture on the web-site and I can clearly see my Dad in him. After Daddy passed away, I found a strong need to be connected with my Dad's brother. We called each other on a regular basis. He gave me advice, he gave me comfort, and I truly miss him already. God Bless you Uncle Ritchie.
