Aunt Jewell - you were a very important part of my life - we may have lost touch, but I thought of you often. In fact I was just talking about you today to a friend as odd as that may seem - You will be missed by many. Thank you for being so kind to us when Caitlin was sick - Michael and I will never forget your generosity. It can never be said often enough - I love you....

I have been Harris and Julie's dentist for many years, and I remember Julie as a very special, genuine and warm, funny person. She was always a pleasure to be with, even when she was the patient. She wrote a poem for me upon the completion of her lenghty treatment in 2001, and it deserves to be here:
I came to you at the end of my line.
However, you assured me things would be fine.
My dental experience had been very scary,
But you said there really was a tooth fairy.
We went through a lot over the two years,
You had patience with me and calmed all my fears.
I grew fond of your office, especially the staff,
I looked forward to my visits and shared our laughs.
But now it's completed. I have a great smile,
And I'm sad to say I won't be back for a while.
All my thanks,
Julie

Harris is one of kind and to put up with Harris's shtick for around 50 years of marriage makes Mrs. K all the more special. You can judge people by their relationship with their spouses.Harris and Mrs. K are role models in this area. I will always remember the way Mrs. K loved harris and her family. She was very special and will be missed but ulimately , she lives on through Harris and her children. May Mrs. K's soul find her eternal resting place in peace.
And may the Kanzer Family find comfort and be thankful for the great life she lived.

Dear Harris,
Vaughn and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. While time did not afford us the opportunity to get to know Julie well, we shall always remember her with great warmth and love. She was so kind, so personable, and so very beautiful. She will remain in all our hearts as you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Undoubtedly, she and Ruth are together chatting away about all of us, free of the pain and suffering that bound them to the earthly plane. We wish for you and your family the comfort and peace they both have found.

Dear Julie,
A full life has many meanings; it's a wife who devotes herself to her husband and family; it's a mother who sacrifices to raise responsible and loving children; it's a friend who comes to welcome a daughter-in-law as her own: it's a grandmother who relishes her grandchildren - in retropect you lived a very full and fruitful life and leave a lifetime of memories to be remembered by.

Dear Rachelle:
I know how hard all of this is for you. I hope you find comfort in remembering all the good times and laughter you and Julie shared. You were so lucky to have had each other. Knowing that you referred to her as your friend and not your Mother in law, is a tribute to the relationship you had ! I hope when you look at Willy & Jillian, a piece of Julie shines through. Always celebrate her life!
I love you,
your sister, Robin

Peter and I have so many beautiful memories of Jewell. I can remember how she was so friendly and warm when we as a young couple moved to New Hyde Park so long ago. I use to love receiving her Christmas card every year and how she would talk alittle bit about each of her children and grandchildren. The love for them would just pour out in her words. May God rest your soul and I look forward to seeing you and being your neighbor one day again in heaven. It was truly my pleasure knowing you. Love Gerrie

Dear Harris and Family, We will always remember Julie's great enjoyment and enthusi-asm for life. She was a wonderful storyteller, but her stories were real....her life. Very often, when we spoke, she shared pieces of her life...always with insight, love and humor,e.g., how she met and married you, Harris; transitions in the lives of her three beloved sons and daughters-in-law; phone conversations with her older granddaughters and, more recently, times spent with little Jillian. We are just two, of many, who will miss Julie's joy, and we hope and pray that her loving memory and legacy will be a blessing to each of you...now and forever. Bette and Phil

The Racquet Club Staff (Rose) posted a condolence
Jule was a very special friend to the Racquet Club staff. She always took time to stop in and say hello to us and tell us about her family. As captain of our ladies tennis team she was respected and efficient. All of her teammates appreciated the extra efforts she put in to make an enjoyable season. Julie and Harris frequently came to dinner at the club and the waitstaff rushed to take care of them because they were so thoughtful, friendly and humorous. We will miss Julie and we send Harris and the Kanzer family our deepest sympathy. The Racquet Club Staff
