Jean was 5 years younger than her Aunt Jean. She was a wonderful seamstress and would make wedding dresses for dolls. She also could have been a chef. She loved to cook and made marvelous meals. She was intelligent, read books which were delivered to her in the last years. I will miss you, dear Jeannie. Save me a place up there. Until we meet again.

Jeannie was 5 years younger than me, Aunt Jean. She was a talented lady and a brilliant one. She could make patterns for dresses and she used to make beautiful wedding dresses for dolls. She read a lot and also helped me with genealogy. I will miss her emails. I know her suffering is over. I will miss you, dear Jeannie. Until we meet again.

Jean was my niece. Her mother Anna was my oldest sister. I remember Jean as a beautiful seamstress, could look at a dress and could make a pattern, buy the material and put the whole thing together. She was well-read, too. We've lived 3,000 miles away since 1947. But we touched base through emails. She also could research in the geneology field and I loved learning about my ancestors, through her. Oh, she cooked up delicious meals, too. She will be sorely missed.
