We are the broader family and living so far away we only new Christina a little, we remember her as a child when she came to London with her Nonna, she was a lovely child, active and vibrant. There are no words that we can offer to ease the pain or the loss, just that we all hope in time all the love and good memories you all had with Christina will fill your thoughts again. Christina was a beautiful person in every way imaginable. From the first day we met at Goodwill Industries Seamark Center in Brooklyn, there was an instant bond between us. I will never forget how she befriended me in such a way that was so genuine and loving that I came to feel as if we had known each other for years! The encouragement and inspiration that she gave me and everyone she encountered was absolutely amazing and just so defining of who she was at the core: A deeply caring, loving, thoughtful, and compassionate individual. I can not even believe that she is gone-though only in a physical sense because I know that her spirit will live on and her light will continue to shine through all of us who have been so blessed with the opportunity to have known such a wonderful individual. Alex and family, you are all deeply in my prayers and thoughts as you go through this difficult time period. Christina will be sincerely missed.

...Although we met Christina
by way of her brother and, our friend Mark only a few times, would be impossible to overlook her sweet smile.

but she's still smiling.
