Obituary of Leslie Maddox-Gibson

Maddox-Gibson, Leslie - on Jan. 8, 2013, age 46, of Glen Cove, NY. Today we celebrate the life of Leslie Anne Maddox Gibson. Leslie was born on February 23rd 1966 to John Joseph Maddox and Ida Maddox Reyes of Oyster Bay, NY. She was a beloved mother of two children (Gregory and Rachelle), a sister of four (Victoria Lee, Janet Tracy, Joe Myle, and Jason John), and a wife of 17 years to David Gibson. Leslie was known for her great sense of humor and her ability to socialize with just about anybody. Her presence always induced a great conversation, the beautiful smile she always wore was a sparkle in any area, and her laid back demeanor was a comfort to all those who loved her. She was a graduate of Oyster Bay High School and continued her studies in Nassau Community College. Along her journey she moved to Glen Cove, NY and stayed there with David, Gregory, and Rachelle until the very end. An advocate of loyalty, she would always support anyone who's helped her in life. May she finally get the peace that she has always deserved. She has not left behind her family in her passing, she is closer than ever with everyone as she will be walking side by side with all of us from here on.
