I MET A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, HER NAME IS MARIA...SHE WELCOMED ME INTO HER HEART AND FAMILY...WE JOINED A SPECIAL BOND TOGETHER...WE SHOPPED, COOKED, SHARED RECIPES, BABY SAT TOGETHER, ETC.,(WE WERE OFTEN CALLED "THE GOLDEN GIRLS" I WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE MEMORY OF HOW WE LAUGHED AND LOVED EACH OTHER...WE BECAME TRUE FRIENDS...NOW MY HEART HAS ANOTHER EMPTINESS AND VOID BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR HAPPINESS AND SPECIAL TIMES TOGETHER (AND YOUR SMILE)...SHE WAS A GIFT TO ME FROM HEAVEN...ANYONE THAT MET MARIA CAN AGREE "SHE WELCOMED THEM WITH OPEN ARMS"... SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL LADY BOTH INSIDE AND OUT...IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO TRY NOT TO BE SAD AND MOURN HER LEAVING SO SOON- BUT GOD SAYS "HE WILL BE THERE TO COMFORT YOU IN TIMES OF LOSS AND SADNESS"...MARIA WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY PRESENSE AND BY MY SIDE (SHE IS MY ANGEL)
I LOVE YOU...XOXOXO

I haven't encountered too many people like you, Maria. Warmhearted, generous, stern, patient, and humorous all in one. Too often than not the best of the bunch are taken from us too soon, but now you will not suffer. We're all dealt a hand, but it's up to God to call or fold it for us. He has the final say. He must have had other plans for you where your heart was needed elsewhere. I will truly miss you. Love Dana

It is with great sadness that I stand up here today delivering this eulogy for our mother...
I am happy to see so many people here today to celebrate her life this shows how wonderful a person our mother was..
We are all obviously distraught...I knew that I would want to deliver a eulogy at her funeral... however, I didn't know if I would have the strength to do so.......I know the best way that I could pay tribute to her life would be to share some memories today about her.
Our mother was a kind and gentle person who passed away too young...,
She was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, loving, gracious and so much more....
she had very strong morals...
She was a beautiful lady....She had the most amazing skin....She could have been the oil of OLay spokes model...
She was a religious person and kept God in her life....
She was an unbelievable baker and a fantastic cook....
She was always there whenever we needed her.
She made all her grandchildren feel special.
She taught us a lot that we will always cherish.
Our greatest memory of our mother is her love for her grandkids. .
Baby Jack, Samson, Alex, Marco, Andrew, Lola, Adam, Jacob, Christopher and Nicholas.....Ten Grandkids...nine Boys and one girl...kids you all gave her so much Happiness.... Each one of you had a very special place in her heart.
Her grandkids where the love of her life...She was so incredibly proud of them . They all brought so much joy to her ........It was always about the KIDS!!!!!
It was impossible not to respect her and everything she accomplished in her life.
It is hard to believe that we will never see her again.....And that we need to find the strength to cope with her death.... I know that she would want us to be strong and to stay a close family and take care of Papa.
We will miss our mother with all of our hearts... her memory will live on in all of us forever...and will always cherish the time we spent together.
Ma we love you very much and pray that you are at peace now.

Dear mama, there are no words that can explain what a beautiful, loving, caring woman u where. Although I wasn't around for your best days I cherish the days I was there and even through those toughest days I could see and feel all the love u had for everyone and all the love everyone had for u. Sometimes when I look at Amanda she seemed like a mirror image of u and I love and hope she be every ounce of the woman u where. Mama I just want u to know Amanda is in good hands and u need not worry as well as we not worry knowing we have the angel u are always by our side, I thank u and love u with all my heart

Ma was the most kind human being on earth, to me. She treated everyone equal and had a place in her heart for all her grandchildren. She loved all and she took care of everyone, the way she would want to be cared for. She always made everyone feel so nice.

Mama, I loved you like a second mom and spent a lot of time with you over the past few years. You were a beautiful woman and you always had a smile on your face. You were a fabulous cook and a great grandma. Amanda and I would pick you flowers and go get our nails done with you. When I didn't have a place to stay, you opened up your home to me and I will never ever forget that. I will not remember you being sick, but instead the loving, witty, vibrant and beautiful woman that you were. I love you and will miss you <3 I know you will be looking down and protecting your family.
With much love,
Xoxo Cortney
