Obituary of John J. DeBellis

DeBellis, John J.- suddenly on January 13, 2005, age 76, lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, NY. Beloved husband of the late Mary Pat. Loving father of John A.(Tina). Cherished grandfather of John Daniel. Dear brother of Tina Ingegno and the late Victor. Also survived by many neices and nephews. He was an elected Oyster Bay Water Commissioner and was the retired proprietor of DeBellis and Sons Contracting of Oyster Bay. He belonged to the Benevolent Exempts Association of the Oyster Bay Fire Co. #1, the American Legion of Oyster Bay and was also the past president of the Italian-American Citizens Club of Oyster Bay. Visiting will be at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, NY on Sunday and Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m.. Firematic services will be Monday at 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday 9:30 AM at St. Dominic RC Chapel, Oyster Bay, NY. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY .
