Obituary of Joseph P. Strigaro

Strigaro, Joseph P. on December 29, 2004, at age 75, of Bayville, NY. Beloved husband of Janet. Loving father of Stephen, Jeffrey, Sharon, Kenneth and Edward. Cherished pop-pop of 10 grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Millie and brother Frank. He proudly served his country during the Korean War and was the recipient of a bronze star and a purple heart. Retired from Grumman in 1990. He is also a 47 year member of the Bayville Fire Company. Visiting Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, Oyster Bay, NY. Firematic services Sunday at 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11:15AM at St. Gertrude RC Church, Bayville, NY. Interment St. Patricks Cemetery, Brookville, NY. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Bayville Fire Company, 258 Bayville Ave , Bayville, NY 11709 or to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 528 Mineola Ave., Carle Place, NY 11514.
