Russ was a true friend and devoted husband and father. He was filled with love and laughter for everyone. He was kind, generous, and always considerate of others.
One of my fondest memories was when we worked together at Seabury & Smith. Russ dressed up as Santa Claus for us and for all the kids visiting that day. His smile and good cheer warmed so many hearts and touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed but will always live on in our hearts and memories.

I worked with Russ for almost 15 years, and he was a great man to work with. Besides being a great co-worker, Russ was a great listener and always had great advice.
Russ will be missed deeply, especially his great personality, but he is now in peace.
My deepest sympathy..

I was so terribly saddened to hear of Russ' passing. I worked closely with Russ on the Dental Program in my years at Seabury (he on the computer end, me on the insurance end). He was so incredibly helpful and patient to those of us who were "technically challenged". I will always remember Russ as a lovely and kind man.

My heart is broken with the loss of my dear friend Russell. Over the last seventeen years, Russ has been my friend through thick and thin. He was there on my first day of work at Marsh, which was my first job. He showed me the "ropes" and immediately I knew what a good person he was. He invited me into his home where I met his beautiful family: Fran, Chris and Jen. He lived his life as a devoted husband and father (and proud dog owner!), someone I would have liked to have had as my father.
He was there for me in my lowest times and celebrated my wedding with me. Years passed and I became a parent. he would laugh when I would tell him stories about my three kids. He would reminisce about Chris and Jen and tell me to enjoy my kids now - they grow too fast.
The past two years was so rough on him, but he never complained. No matter how bad his day was, he always managed to laugh or joke about something. It was so hard to watch what he and his family were going through. I am somewhat comforted to know that he is no longer in pain.
I feel honored to have known him and to call him my friend. I will always remember his courageous spirit and the love he had for his family. I will miss him dearly.

I worked very closely with Russ in our years together at Marsh. We often butt heads but always had an understanding that it's nothing personal and that it's just work. Russ sometimes refer to me as the "superbitch" out of jest. He was a truly good friend. I will miss him!!

I just wanted to pass on to Russ' family the fond memories I had of working with Russ. He always treated everyone in contact with him with the upmost respect and courtesy. Russ was truly a very sincere and polite human being. Someone you should be very proud of because of his kind heart. He will be missed.
