Lou-Ann Thompson posted a condolence
Florence was such an important part of our lives. She befriended my son Brian(they were real buddies) and then when my daughter Katie was older she played dominos with her in the afternoon when the kids came home from school.
I myself and my husband loved sharing a beer with her now and then and just talking about whatever. Florence shared my childrens baptisms and birthdays with us when she felt up to it if she hadn't taken her nightly bath yet, Because once she took her bath she was in for the night. It's hard to drive in and out of our driveway without thinking of her. I always felt that she looked out for us and the house when we weren't there. She's the one who noticed that our dog Maggie was gone during the black-out last August. Thank God for her...we would have never known that Maggie got out. We just love Florence and we will all miss her greatly. Her gentle nature will remain in our hearts always.
I am so glad my son had her for a special friend and know I know she will look after him from Heaven.
