Obituary of Albert W. Fimognari Jr.

 Albert William Fimognari Jr passed away on September 10th, 2024 in East Meadow, New York. He was 67. Albert was a fighter. He had suffered a number of strokes over the past four years and worked hard to stay strong and get better as much as he was able.
The son of the late Albert W. Fimognari Sr and Irene M. Podest Fimognari, he was born on December 20th, 1956 in Manhattan, NY
Survivors Include his daughter, Shawn Fimognari, her husband Michael and their children Rocco and Sloane. Albert son’s Daniel Fimognari and longtime girlfriend Kara. Their mother Victoria Pannell. Albert’s brother Robert Fimognari and his wife Kathy Fimognari. Albert’s daughters Alison and Veronica and Veronica’s daughter Hailey. As well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Albert was a life long resident of Liberty, NY with the exception of the last few years he spent on Long Island with his children. He was an accomplished carpenter who had built and worked on many homes and projects all throughout Sullivan County. Albert loved to listen to music - he always had a speaker playing. He loved to cook, garden and to sit outside. He loved to tell a joke or a story and play a card game. He was a friend to many, and those that knew him know that he knew how to have a good time.
Albert’s family will be celebrating his life privately for the moment. They will be planning a celebration of life in the spring. Details will follow closer to the date.
