Regis Lake will be remembered as a true gentleman. He overcame many health issues in his lifetime. He was truly a remarkable man. I consider myself fortunate to be a friend of Sonja, Regis, and their sons Vincent and Christopher. We share some wonderful memories of sharing Christmas Eve, Kwanza, holiday parties with each other.

Oh my dearest friend Regis (Sunrise 1945-SUNSET 16 Dec. 2023). There is no a gap in the garden of life and your absence will be profound. You will never be forgotten by those who knew you and your trips to the UK, sharing a meal at Jalal's restaurant in London; the shock waves are still resounding and so surreal. Do not judge a book by its cover or skim through the pages, take time to read each chapter let the story unfold in your mind and find a place in your heart. I have been asked to pass on condolences from Ghana, Ronald, Cherry and family, Jalal, Leyla, David Rawlins...Shalom.

My outstanding memory of Regis is that he he loved to learn about new cultures The first time he visited Jamaica he couldn't learn enough and would wonder off on his own to see what the locals were doing Of course you can imagine how his wife's anxiety level was going thru the roof.LOL
