The word Remember is so powerful that within it, a tapestry of memories are intertwined between two people. They are a shared moment, a laugh, a story, a tear, a hug, just shared and now remembered with intimacy. Pete is being remembered for his appreciation of those he that he loved and held so dearly. Pete is being remembered by those of us embraced by his kindness, his friendship, his generosity and integrity. Being captured by his contagious laugh, hugged like a bear, toasted with his pinky up and catching his wink for the corner of his eye, I will remember this Good Guy and celebrate his life and the bountiful legacy that he leaves behind. Pete was a mentor, a father figure, and most importantly a friend. He took me under his wing and taught me so much about safety in construction. He was was there for me in one of my hardest time. He was funny and smart, and everyone knows we shared the same views on life. He always picked up the phone when I called whether it be for advice, a safety code, or just some friendly banter. I owe my safety career to him. Even after I moved to Florida we still talked often. I will be forever grateful. I will forever miss him. Safety Squad Forever!

Pete was a great coworker, a great friend and confidant, and a great drinking buddy. Dozens of times we would go out with people from the office and hoist to the work week. Pete was our spokesperson and leader. He will be sorely missed.
