Maggie was such a wonderful person who everybody loved being around. Her positive outlook, her wit and charm, lit up a room. Maggie spent her last years at SCCC working with me. She was our MAG, our Meet and Greet person, who always knew how to turn a frown into a smile. One of the things that will always stay with me was her sentiment "It's nice to be nice". A life lesson so plain and simple yet so true. One she lived by.
Maggie's love for her family was obvious in the many stories she told, from her schoolgirl days in the Bronx to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She oozed with pride when speaking of them.
Luckily I was able to visit with Maggie a few weeks ago and let her know how much she had touched my life. Her kindness and positivity will always be remembered. I love you Maggie, Heaven gained another Angel, please watch over all of us!!!

Maggie was a special person and will be missed. She always had a story to tell and a smile on her face. I always said she should be in Human Resources because she brought me so many fabulous ladies whenever I had an opening to fill. Maggie was wonderful with the students at SCCC. She was a good listener and always had a kind word to share. God speed, my friend, until we meet again. My sincere condolences to her loved ones.

I, like countless others, am grateful to have known Maggie. We worked together then remained friends. Her humor, wit, way of telling a story, Irish brogue she put on, and the list goes on... Maggie is a genuine, rare gem. She always spoke very highly and was very proud of each and every family member. I always admired Maggie's ability to instantly diffuse a situation... an irate student would walk in and literally within seconds, she had the student laughing and the situation was soon resolved... like magic!
Until we meet again, Maggie, May God Hold You in the Palm of His Hand.
