Special, caring, giving, thoughtful, generous, big- hearted, inspirational, loving and fun are some of the words that come to our mind when we think of Betty. We shared many laughs and good times toasting with our Bailey's. Betty was an incredible role model and it shows in her beautiful family. We will keep Betty forever in our hearts and her memories will live on.
Love, all the A's

Aunt Betty was always happy to see all of her relatives, including Patrick J. Hickey jr from Rockaway, her nephew. She comforted me during a difficult time for my household after Superstorm Sandy. She provided a hot shower, a hot meal and a bed in her home after my home was decimated. Most importantly, she provided me love and hope. She is a Saint, Aunt Betty. She had a positive impact on all! I will always smile when I think about her and she had a major impact on my life! God Bless her. She has earned an express pass to heaven! I love you always Aunt Betty, Patrick J Hickey jr, Rockaway Beach.

My time spent with Betty seemed short, but her beautiful smile, humble demeanor, a strong believer in her faith , and her love for her grandchildren will be etched in my memories forever.
Rest well Betty.
My sincere condolences to the family whom Betty adored and who cared and loved her to her last breath. An exemplary family you all are. I pray you all find comfort .

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I grew up with all the Hickey's in the Bronx and Rockaway. My grandmother and grandfather, Delia and Mike O'Rourke were Betty's Godparents. See was a great person and had an a wonderful sense of humor. God Bless and keep her!

Bellmore won't be the same for me. Every time I returned home, I always made a stop at Natta Ct. My Mom and I would pick Aunt Betty up and drive down to Jones beach field 6. Once there, we would catch some rays and get a cup of coffee at the concession. On the way back we'd stop at Applebees or the Third Rail for a bite to eat. I'll miss those simple pleasures. Rest in peace.
