Obituary of Frank Mormando
Frank "Dusty" Mormando, Jr. September 4, 1936- February 6, 2022. Passed after a lengthy illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Frank Sr. and Lucy (D'Liea), and raised in Queens. He attended Andrew Jackson High School and graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1958 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served two years in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant, earning the commission in the R.O.T.C., stationed on Govenors Island, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Rosanne Cohen Mormando a fellow college classmate. Three sons, Frank III, Mark (former wife Patti), John (Noreen). Seven grandchildren, Michelle, Isabella, Mark Jr., Dana, Mia, Christopher, and Victoria.
Frank follows a career in recreation, Bowling and Restaurants.
After Residing in Levittown, and Oyster Bay Cove he retired to Boca Raton FL, to enjoy his love of active sports.
