Dear "Richit", "Robit", and Laura,
We are truly sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great neighborhood mom. Some of my fondest memories growing up on Devonshire Drive was walking into the Brusca house and smelling the exquisite aroma of Italian cooking. And who can forget Rose chasing Richard with a wooden spoon and him yelling back at her "you can't catch me". To which she replied, "No, but you gotta come home sometime". I also recall many times when Mrs. McAuliffe and Rose sitting on the Brusca's front stoop, smoking their cigarettes while all the kids were out in the street playing kick the can. Many fond memories but mostly her love and compassion. May she rest in peace and enjoy everlasting happiness.

Richard, Robert and Laura: We send our sincere condolences to you as you grieve the passing of your beloved mother Rose. There is no other love like a mother's, and she loved you and your families with all of her heart. She always had a smile and a hug whenever we were with her. Making us all feel like we were part of her family was what made her the special person that we loved to be near. She was always interested in our company and in our lives, chatting with us and commenting as she giggled through stories of her own. Thinking of your mother will always bring a smile to our face and a remembrance of all of the wonderful times we spent with her through the years. Most of all, we will remember how much she loved her family and treated us like we were her family, too. She was a great lady and will truly be missed. God bless Rose, may she rest in peace.

The neighborhood Yaya was always a fixture around Radcliff. We have so many memories of Yaya! At the Co-Op pick-up, the bus stop
On the corner - you remember by the giant pine tree? Walking with Lou (and his stick) around the block stopping to talk to everyone - young and old. Hey come here…she used to say and you knew you were summoned to the porch for a chat. During those conversations she always asked about my boys and my family. Her sincerity was admirable and comforting. Rose was a classic.
Rest In Peace Yaya. We love you.

Dearest Rich, Rob and Laura,
Eternal rest grant unto Rose, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Rose. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Rose was truly a "gem" and we loved being in her world.
May your beautiful and loving Rose be in the loving embrace of Our Lord and her beloved Lou.

May your dear mother rest in God's peace. I am pretty sure that your father held the "Gate" open for Rose. "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
