Patti was the most giving person I ever knew and wanted nothing in return. She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and they loved Aunt Patti, even those that are adults now. She always thought of everyone else before herself. I love you and miss you already. -Love, Martha

My sister, My friend
Hallmark cards always. All the trips to DC. What is my favorite monument yes Lincoln. Hey Patti there is Lincoln can we stop she would say no and just laugh at me. Then I would save just wave to him then she would smile. The best was the contest you won from NBC 3 days, 2 nights. Hotel, dinner at the Rockefeller Center, the lighting of the Christmas tree. Up at 5am to make it to the Today Show then the afternoon taping of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. All we heard all day was smile you never know when the camera will be on you. The Rockettes walked by us and they all smiled. That was a nice goodie bag we got.
I love you and miss you.
Love,
Claudette

I've know Patti for many years. We worked together in Great Neck and then many years in Virginia. We both moved to Virginia from NY at the same time and only knew each other. Patti was very much loved by all who knew her over the years. She was a true friend to me when my husband was ill. I will truly miss her. Rest in peace.

To the entire James Family, I was saddened to hear the sudden and unexpected transition of Patti. I last saw her in August of 2018 in Arlington cemetery at the burial of my brother, her brother in law, David Brooks, Jr. Patti was a beautiful young lady full of life and zeal. She had a heart of gold and will truly be missed. I pray that God will comfort the hearts of the family and friends who loved Patti. I am sorry that I am unable to be with you physically to celebrate her life, however I will be there in spirit. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Love you all, Ann Brooks-White

Patti was a kind, warm generous person. Anyone who was in need, she was right there for you and asked nothing in return. She loved her family and adored her nieces and nephews, which she loved taking on vacations. She loved family gatherings and before one was over, she was planning the next one. You will be missed my Dear Sister. Until we meet again, R.I.P. Love, Laura

Pat's Family:
Pat was a wonderful, kind and caring person. Her laugh was one you will never forget. She was a co-worker but more than that a dear friend. We had many conversations about family and events that were going on in our lives. Every so often Pat would run into my office and asked if I had time to talk, she asked for my advice on work projects she was working on and I would laugh and tell her to stop worrying. You're taking it all too seriously. She would talk about working at Sperry and other places she had worked. We both worked in the Springfield office at the same time, in the same building and on the same floor but never met. When I went to work in Chantilly, that's when I met Pat. Pat was always a joy to be around.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Though your hearts are broken, know that Pat has brought joy to the many people in her life and we miss her dearly.

We will miss you so much Aunt Patti. You have a heart of gold. Just thinking about how much fun we had together. The days I couldn't wait for the 4th of July to come knowing we would be going back to VA with you and you peeking to see if Grandma fell asleep so you could get us there in five hours:), the South Carolina trips where we didn't know that we couldn't catch the female crabs, sneaking us into your pool complex. Just hearing your sweet laugh. I could go on and on about all the fun times. Thank you for all the great memories that I will have forever. I will miss you. XOXOXOX Love Always Natasha ( Tot)

To Pat's siblings, family, and friends,
There are few people in life that when you meet them, you know them; like you have always known them. Pat was that kind of person. Pat and I worked on and off together on different projects and I would love hearing about her holiday plans to take the train to NY and what she needed to pack, where she was going. We rode bicycles with a group at Spokes in Vienna, VA and I know she was an avid hiker. I can picture her walking down the hallway in our Chantilly, VA office, her small frame, and she would always start laughing. She was always finding the good in all situations and now she has certainly found the best; she has passed from death to eternal life. I'll miss you Pat, you left us many memories. Thank you, Susan Payne
