To the Mallardi family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Steven Mallardi as a kind, caring, charismatic man, with a smile on his face, standing proudly watching his children sing. I also remember him being a good dancer, eager to twirl someone around the dance floor. Always attentive and at his beautiful wife's side, a love that could not be ignored. Mr. Mallardi-- may you be at peace now and may you go find my Dad, share some jokes and some stories and enjoy the piano playing, a little piece of home in heaven. It has been an honor and a privilege to have known you.- Christine Fogarty

I will always remember Steve Mallardi as one of the first Vincentians to do bread pick up on Thursday night for St Gertrudes food pantry. He was always willing and able to help our svdp conference in Bayville
.
I too have had the privilege of dancing with him at different church and legion functions.
He loved the lindy AND so do I!
I recently visited Steve and Connie in their home and gave them communion. they were both very talkative , sharing jokes and stories of earlier years.
RIP Steve Mallardi. May the good Lord welcome you home with open arms!

My deepest sympathy to Connie and the rest of the family. I was very lucky to have known Steve and will miss his pleasant personality. He always seemed to be able to make me smile. One fond memory was at the Crescent Beach during the Village celebration in 2019. I found him sitting in a lounge chair sipping a Black Russian looking at the sunset and I said, "Don't you just look like the great kahuna". And he turned to me and said, "Who's got it better than me, Jack?".
