Mazzara, Antonette R. “Toni” affectionately known as The General or Your Majesty – on Apr. 29, 2021, age 83, of Oyster Bay, NY. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Lou-Ann Thompson (the late Tommy) and the late Steven. Cherished grandmother of Brian Thompson and Katherine Thompson. Dear sister of the late Lawrence Cassano, Camille Cappiello (Fred), and Billy Cassano (Nancy). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge the special friends, both lifelong and new, who provided love, care and support: Mickey Hawkhurst, Pat Nagel, Doris Turner, Mary King, Liz Ort, Terry Varricchio, Aileen Radigen and Juan Pina (caregiver and friend). A very special thank you to Ruth James, Antonette’s primary healthcare aide for six years, who became her dear friend. Her kindness and devotion will never be forgotten.
