Alice always seemed to have a smile for everyone! She was close to the North Shore High School group of friends two years younger than I was, and there, Alice participated in sports with her usual enthusiasm. We also remember her joy when she and Dan described their surfing at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, each year.
