Stanton, Robert A. – on Feb. 25, 2021, age 83, of Bayville, NY. Beloved husband of the late Palma. Loving father of Barbara (Jeffrey Butler), and Bob (Rosanne Giannuzzi, MD). Cherished grandfather of T.J. Butler and Matthew Butler. Dear brother of Ann Araniti and the late William Stanton. Cherished friend of Billie Schretzman. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Graduate of Clarkson College of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering. Former partner of Sidney B Bowne & Son. Past president of the Bayville Fire Company, past president and treasurer of the Bayville Rotary. Former member of Hermandad, a non-for-profit organization that funded drinking water projects in the rural villages in the Dominican Republic.
