I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were one of my parents best friends. Notre Dame brought them together for probably the last 50 years. Just like I do with my parents, we still talk every day, just in a different way! Sincerely, Tom Hessert Jr.

I was blessed to know both Ed and Betty through my friendship with Tara. The four of us shard a special day, January 7th- it was my birthday as well as Tara’s birthday and Ed and Bettys wedding anniversary, Next January 7th I will raise a glass in honor of their first wedding anniversary celebrated in heaven. RIP

Edward will always be in my thoughts as not only family , but someone that helped me when l needed help in high school and later on in life when problems came about : Edward taught me a lot about life during the the short time I worked for him and I wish I had taken more of his Advice : I think about all the times my father and Edward would talk to me and would love to listen to them now : I going to miss Edward , but the life he led I’m sure he is in a good place now :

"Mr. Fitz" as I called him affectionately, was a great mentor and friend during my engineering grad school years. I loved working at Fitzpatrick / McGoldrick and with Kathie and Laura and everyone as they treated me like family. I had the pleasure of getting to know many additional family members as the office was a hub for everyone to pass through now and then, and we even shared lunch most days which was always filled with great laughs and good conversation. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathie and the whole family and extended family during this difficult time. I will think of Mr. Fitz fondly and so very gratefully for all my days!
