I met GLadys the first day that we attended Nursing school and since then we developed a very special friendship. GLadys had a unic kindness, a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. We shared beautiful vacations to Costa Rica and Cabo, and took many trips to Atlantic City, Foxwoods and Mohegan sun. We spent unforgettable weekends in shelter island, relaxing walks by the beach and gardens in oyster bay and worked together for many years until she retired. We also shared countless hours sighing, laughing and even crying talking about her childhood in Ireland and my in Guatemala, while watching movies , cooking shows or just enjoying our “happy Hours. Along the years Gladys showed me the true meaning of friendship I always be proud and thankful for the privilege to be her friend and had met met her wonderful family. GLadys will live for ever in my heart and my memories, but my life will never be the same with out her company. My sincere and deepest condolences to her entire family.

Gladys and I shared a special friendship for many years. We loved planning our annual trips to Los Cabos, special times on Shelter Island and “get aways” to Atlantic City casinos. She couldn’t wait to get comfortable at a quarter poker machine! We would cheer if we won five dollars!! Mostly we enjoyed just being together. She was a bright light in my life and will remain so in my heart ❤️. She will be missed dearly. I remain grateful for the time we had together.
My heartfelt condolences to her entire family.

May your special memories help navigate the sadness of your loss.
