Larry will be missed by his fellow Knights of Columbus Fr. Thomas F. Connolly Council members. Larry was always full of life and his strong faith in Jesus Christ strengthened all of us. God bless him and may he rest in peace in Christ.

Deirdre and Ellen,
Your Dad will be missed by many people. It's hard to sum up someone in a few words..... so I will focus on what I think meant the most to Larry, his family. He and his wife Rosemarie raised three kind, intelligent daughters Rosemarie, Ellen and Deirdre. Growing up in Bayville, my closest friend was Rosemarie (Larry's oldest daughter). I have fond memories of playing at all of the houses they lived in during my childhood. Larry was a funny guy. He was religious and enjoyed politics and liked to tell jokes. The loss of your Mom was devastating, but losing Rosemarie years later still seems surreal. I am happy that he found companionship with Cecila and enjoyed many years with her later in his life. I'm also glad he had the opportunity to enjoy his grandchildren and see them grow as well. Deirdre, you took good care of him and brought him back to Bayville where he needed to be, with you. In the end it gives me great comfort to know that he finally will be together again with your Mom and Ro.
Love from Louise

Dear Ellen, Deirdre and Family
We will always remember the wonderful holidays and celebrations that we shared with Dad. His many stories and singing of broadway tunes will be a forever memory.
Rest In Peace Larry, you will be missed.

My grandfather was the smartest and most interesting person I have ever met. When I was a child, I filled with awe as I would run all over my house looking for my grandfather in every closet and room as we played hide and seek. As I grew up, I treasured the times we would discuss films and books. My favorite memory would be the times that my grandfather would randomly burst out in song. He was truly one of a kind and anyone who was able to meet him was graced by the way he would radiate positivity and knowledge. My grandfather also raised two of the strongest and coolest women I know - my mom and my Aunt Deirdre.
It was a pleasure to have my grandfather in my life and I can confidently say that I have never met anyone who had a bad word to say about him.
While he may not be here, I know that he will be with me as I finish my senior year of college and graduate.
Love you Grandpa.

Larry was a wonderful and dear person and I knew him from the St. Gertrude's Prayer Group and K of C. I was blessed to know this personable, spiritual, intelligent, kind person. Until we meet again may God hold him in the palm of His hand.
