Frank Moore originated Medical Education at Glen Cove Hospital in the late 60"s and I had the good fortune to be a Medical Student he accepted into a training program for international medical students. My experiences at Glen Cove under Dr. Moore's guidance became the foundation for my medical knowledge and ability to connect with and care for my patients until this day. He was a fine physician, fine human being and an inspiration to many young doctors who are better for having worked with him.

Frank Moore was a consummate gentleman, kind, considerate, compassionate, and exceptionately humble. My late wife Olga and I were privileged to be friends and neighbors to him and Roseann. As Frank rests in peace from a lifetime of living for others he will live on in the memories of all who knew him.

Frank and Rose Ann were in our Italian group for many years. We all became friends, rather than just students. Frank always amazed us with his gift of being able to do the assigned work without spending hours on it - he could look at the assignment, open the book and he would speak the correct Italian to all of us! Who else but Frank (and Rose Ann) would decide to delve into a calculus course (for fun) during the summer months? We miss them both but we keep them in our thoughts as we meet for our Monday group lesson. Maybe Frank will occasionally watch over us from above, to see how we're doing! Love, Lucille and Jerry

I’m grateful for having the pleasure of working with Dr. Moore and opening the Cancer Center at Glen Cove. He was ageless and could relate to all ages. We had a great team! My deepest sympathy to Roseann and his children and family.

As a nurse at Glen Cove Hospital, it was my distinct pleasure to know Dr. Moore. A consummate professional, he was kind and compassionate, really cared about his patients, and always treated nurses with respect. In addition, I attended and graduated from the nursing program at Nassau Community College with his wife, Roseanne, who I also knew for some time before this, when she worked at Glen Cove as a lab tech. (Also, she and I are both of Italian heritage and grew up in Glen Cove, and we are some sort of relatives in the Italian way.)
My deepest condolences to Rose and to all the Moore family on the loss of such a wonderful man.
In sympathy,
Fran Hilliard
