Dearest Uncle Joe,
How does one mend a broken heart from such a loss? One floods one’s mind with wonderful memories of shared holidays and trips to Italy,Canada,Lancaster,San Francisco and Lake George.
You shared your love for living with us with generosity and selflessness.
You gave of yourself without ever expecting anything in return.
You entertained us with stories of growing up with your older brother Salvatore ( my father).
You made us laugh and we loved being in your company!
Most importantly you loved all of us and you never hesitated to tell us!!!
I will miss you dearly! I love you !
Your loving niece ,
Phyllis

Every memory I have of Uncle Joe, whether of camping on Lake George or walking through a festival in Sicily, is a memory of him making everyone around him laugh. There can be no better evidence that he was a good man who lived a good life and our lives are better because he had a part.
I wish that we could join you all to celebrate his life. Please know that Uncle Joe is remembered fondly from across the country.
Love,
Lenny & Shay

Dearest Papa,
LOVER OF LIFE! A hard working man never missed a day of work. He never tired and was not too busy to be present for his family and friends. He was always there for you no matter what you could count on Papa. Loyal and a man of his word. Your decency, honor. A true gentleman. A stylish man always dressed to impress.
He taught us to love the outdoors, be kind, work hard, give thanks for everything. Help anyone that needed you. Enjoy life. Everything was beautiful to him. A man with integrity!
A master Tailor!
Papa loved Fishing, Camping in Lake George of course, Hunting
Dinner with the family, Baseball the Yankees of course, Road trips, Western Movies, The Sea, Cadillacs, and Gardening he had a green thumb.
He loved his native country Italy; however, he always was so grateful and passionate for America
"I love my country. Nevertheless, America was the greatest place on earth." ~Papa
Time with his grandkids whenever Papa came over you could find him with the kids teaching them and continuously praising them.
He always told me what good kids I have and how proud he was of them.
Baby Jack how to grow grapes. Someday Jack will have a winery.
Samson, he was in aw how Samson could do anything he put his mind to it (that Papa allowed Samson to drive his car when he was only 5).
Marco when watching sports with him that was one of his greatest highlights. Plus especially proud that you are an outstanding athlete and champion.
Lola, he always told her she was the most Beautiful extraordinary, intelligent girl in the world.
Papa was a good husband, father, father in law. He loved Big Jack. He made him feel like a son rather than a son in law, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. Anyone that knew him knows what an honor it was to have him in their life. Everyone adored him.
He was firm in his beliefs and strong-minded.
He encouraged and supported, but never steered.
We tested his patience I know I did although he always responded with the great gift of genuine love and teaching.
He was simplistic, a strong man, unique, entertaining, wise, master of so many things. Proud of himself and beyond proud of his family.
We’re going to miss him intensely. Your decency, honor and gentle soul will stay with us eternally. So, within our sadness, the blessings of knowing and loving you a great and distinguished person.
Papa Your love, your intelligence and your wonderful sense of joyfulness, lover of life will live on inside us always. Thank you for giving us good morals. Sound advice that has helped to shape my life profoundly.
If we just had more time together. Papa, I am so proud to call you my father. I will miss you with my whole heart and soul, and You will forever live in me. My core aches for you. If we only had more time together.
I know that now you are feeling of peace and with Mama in heaven.
PAPA a true legend!
Goodbye Papa
I love you! I love you! I love you!
Your loving daughter Phyllis

Dear Uncle Joe,
I have no words to truly describe the pain I’m feeling right now. You were a very important person in my life while I was growing up. I remember looking out the window because Uncle Joe was coming to take me to Adventures Inn. Anytime we were at a party together, you would always tell everyone the story of what happened one time when you changed my diaper. I loved you for everything you were to me and regret all that I missed in the end with you. Your distinct voice and free spirit will always remind me of the joy you gave me during those innocent years of my life and I thank you for that. I love you and will always miss you Uncle Joe. Rest in Peace.
Your nephew, JoJo
