Dear Laurenzano Family,
My memories of my Dear Friend Gene go back fifty plus years. We go back to
113th Street & Jamaica Ave. when Gene was working in his Cousin's Pizza place, & I was working in my Uncle's Luncheonette around the corner In Queens. Fate had it we met up & formed a forever bond. Who knew, after years gone by we
located ourselves together again … he in Massapequa & I in East Meadow. After what life throws your way we ended up being a Team again. We did everything friends do together. We had fun times. Yes boating & fishing was a big part of our get togethers. Time was spent watching movies, eating pizza, going out to nice restaurants, coffee & pastries. Along with all this time spent, our conversations between the two of us could have solved all the world's problems! I miss my Buddy greatly. I know just how great a loss you suffered as I suffer the same emptiness. .My comfort now comes from all my fifty plus years of memories & the friendship I had with such a Special Man.
Love &
My Heartfelt Sympathy,
Tony Prainito & Family

I met Gene was 18 yrs old when I began to work at JFK for Airlift Intl Airlines in 1971 !
Gene was my mentor,my friend and the little “big brother”
I never had .
We remained friends and worked together for over 30 years at Airlift,AMR Services and then WFS!
Gene was just one of the sweetest human beings I evwr met and was priveliged to call him my friend.
My whole family, parents, siblings and my kids mourn with in the passing of Gene!
He was indeed very muched loved and I really miss being and talking with him! God Bless !

Thoughts & prayers to your Family, your grief may only be consoled
with the knowledge that he is now in a better place with no pain. Hopefully
he's found a great fishing hole... cause then we'll know he's truly in Heaven.
With Deep Sympathy,
Matt & Sandra Prainito (Brother of Anthony Prainito)
