It was fate that brought Lori to Girl Scouts, an organization that promotes adventure, learning and empowerment for girls and women. A strong woman herself with a wealth of work and personal experiences behind her, she found more of her tribe here. Lori is special to everyone at GSNC, but she is particularly dear to us. As a unit, Lori, Antonina, Claudia, Laura Jean and Leigh (The Fab Five) worked, dined, traveled and had slumber parties. We are women who aren’t afraid to have childlike fun and to find joy in our moments. Lori created and instigated many of those moments. She always reminded us to be happy and grateful. When Lori came to us she turned workplace friends into family. We are heartbroken at her passing. There were so many more chapters to write. But we are grateful for her pain and discomfort to have ended. Lori only lived life one way, full one, and that is how we will continue. Knowing that she is with us always we will make her proud, share our joys with her and, hopefully, even surprise her from time to time. Always our inspiration and now our Angel. Buckle up my friend; we know you will make the next ride a wild one too!
Love you forever sweet friend!

My beautiful cousin, words can never capture nor define your beauty, your soul, your kindness, your love, grace and dignity. I will miss you more than anyone can imagine. You were always the voice of reason when I needed it and always there to help out and be a part of the things and family you loved so much. I will miss our endless talks on the phone and the sound of your voice. I love you ❤

Lori was a beautiful person inside and out who I will miss being with. Our hearts go out to her family. We wish them peace. Thank you, Sharon, for opening your home to all who got to spend quality time with Lori these past few months and Leslie, for putting together a schedule for visitors. It meant so much to sit with her and talk.
We met as book club friends but we all grew closer over the years and I will always carry her in my heart.

My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to her family. Lori was not only my colleague but she was also my friend outside of work. She was always looking out for me when I was sick and also about my children. We shared many stories, laughs and tears. I will forever miss her smile at this office and stopping by and asking what's for lunch? She did the same during my last visit with her 2 weeks ago and smiled at me. I will carry that with me forever, she remembered me. I will miss our dinners with the girls and mostly your laughter.
I know you are in heaven now watching over us. I find peace in knowing you are with your Mother and in no more pain. I pray your children, sisters, family and friends find peace in God love and mercy today and always.
Love you my friend and will miss you dearly.
Thank you for being my friend!
With God's Love and mine,
Yari and the DeLeon Family - Jules, Maia and Leila
