It is with great sadness that I learned of Tony’s passing. He was a wonderful physical therapist, who helped me many times, and a truly empathetic, kind man. He is truly missed.

I was a classmate of Anthony's in two schools in two very different environments: First as one of the three students in the same class named "Anthony" at the Franklin Avenue School, in Valley Stream (1958-1963), and then at Brown University (1971-1975). My earliest childhood memories of Anthony are of a slender, pleasant & friendly fellow; my college memories are of a slender, tall, pleasant & friendly fellow. He apparently knew the right way to live, and he stayed the course. Judging by the beautiful sentiments left on this website, and the family members & other loved ones he left behind, he clearly lived his life to the fullest. I was very saddened to learn of Anthony's passing, and I wish to express my deepest sympathies to his family & friends.

My name is David.
I had the pleasure of having Dr. Anthony Sarola as my professor this past semester in Touro College's DPT program. Dr Sarola was an inspiration to my life, he cared about every student to the point where he made it his point to pronounce EVERY students name perfectly. He would spend time with each student, making sure we each understood his lecture well, and he loved what he did.
Dr Sarola will truly be missed,
May He Rest In Peace
My dearest condolences to the Sarola family,
Sincerely,
David

Tony had a way of so fully enjoying himself. What a great wit he had. And a wonderful sense of humor. He was a constant in my life and set the bar for friendship - which no one will ever exceed.

I was shocked and greatly saddened to learn of Anthony's passing. We met as students in the physical therapy program at Stony Brook University 40 years ago. Tony was in the graduating class after mine. We were both inducted into the Alpha Eta allied health honor society. Tony was very dedicated to his profession and stood out from the crowd by making continual efforts to uphold and advance its integrity. A good man, an ethical man, he was admired and will be missed by me and many others.
